Design of high voltage surge suppression circuit for unmanned ground vehicle computer system

In this paper, a high voltage surge suppression circuit applied to the computer system of ground unmanned vehicles is designed and applied to the entrance of the power supply of unmanned vehicle computer system. When the high voltage surge occurs in the unmanned ground vehicle power supply bus, the high voltage surge can be reduced to the acceptable range. The high voltage surge in the power supply bus can not enter the rear stage circuit of the unmanned vehicle computer system, so as to protect the equipment from high voltage damage. Compared to traditional high voltage surge suppression methods, this design can protect the higher level of high voltage surge, the power of protection is greater, and the reliability is higher. After simulation and physical test, the surge suppression circuit designed in this paper can work stably and reliably during high voltage surge, and can make the computer system of unmanned ground vehicles work continuously and stably.
