Evaluation of printed capacitive touch sensors for touch panel

Printed capacitance can be used as normal capacitors, capacitive sensors and touch sensors through the different circuits design and the selection of different conductive and dielectric materials. Printed capacitive sensors can be used for touch buttons, linear sliders and radial sliders. The basic techniques of printed capacitive touch sensors in circuit design and multi-layer screen printing processes for the integrated system have be investigated in this study. The capacitive touch sensing controller is also used to eliminate the parasitic capacitance and improve the touch sensing accuracy for touch panel application.
