Simulation of radiative cooling with FETD method

Air and liquid cooling are two most commonly adopted cooling ways in the thermal designs and simulations of integrated circuits. But radiative cooling is usually ignored. This paper utilizes heat conduction equation with radiative boundary condition discretized by the finite element time domain method to simulate the radiative cooling phenomenon. Numerical results are given to validate the accuracy of the proposed method.
