Reverse cellular automata based AES S-BOX

AES is one of the cryptographic algorithm that is used to guard the electronic data. The only Non-linear part in AES which influences its strength is Substitution Box. The conventional AES is executed with LUT based Substitution Box, which consume large space, power, low throughput and weak against attacks. This paper focuses on implementation of Substitution Box using Reversible Cellular Automata (RCA) function, it decrease the implementation cost and time without compromising Non-linear properties.
