A time synchronization method of power grid based on TD — LTE frame synchronization

The operation of intelligent power distribution network automation, control and other services require accurate time synchronization. Therefore, based on the technology of TD-LTE wireless private network communication system, this paper proposes a time synchronization method based on TD-LTE frame synchronization, which includes the research of TD-LTE frame synchronization mechanism and the method of time delay compensation. TD-LTE frame synchronization mechanism is used for the primary and secondary synchronization signals, mapped absolute time and TD-LTE system synchronization frame structure; at the same time, the method of time delay compensation is designed to improve the accuracy by correct the delay caused by radio propagation path. Finally, the feasibility of this technology is analyzed and verified by simulation experiment, and test accuracy can reach the order of sub-microsecond, which can meet the demand of power distribution network service.
