Probabilistic methods of estimating the mean residual time before the next parameters abnormalities for monitored critical systems

In practice because of ignorance of an residual time before the next parameters abnormalities it is not undertaken measures for prevention of negative events (failures, accidents, damages and-or the missed benefit because of equipment time out). And on the contrary, knowing residual time before abnormality these events may be avoided, or system may be maintained accordingly. For monitored critical systems of different application the probabilistic methods to estimate the mean residual time for each element and whole system are proposed. There are considered admissible conditions of traced parameters for each system element, the reservation possibilities, implemented technologies of the control and recovery of integrity. The methods are implemented by the “Siberian Coal Energy Company” in remote monitoring system for two cases: without any reaction of responsible staff and if obligatory adequate reaction is always in real time.
