The analysis of hand gesture based cursor position control during solve an IT related task

Several new interfaces provide possibilities for the realization of human-computer interaction including the controlling systems based on human movement. The human - computer interaction is able to detect the cognitive actions, the human and computer can have much more than an interaction (HCI). Here the Human and the system form a combined capability to work together. The action of a human makes sense under Cognitive Infocommunications. In the article the mouse cursor control based on hand gestures, realized by The Leap Motion device, is introduced, as well as the evaluation of the mouse cursor movement. During the mouse cursor movement analysis, the realized movements, carried out by a conventional mouse cursor, and hand gesture detection, are compared, with the involvement of test subjects. On the basis of the results of the mouse cursor movement analysis differences were shown in the course of controlling performed by a conventional mouse, and hand gesture detection.
