Using a rotating electromagnetic field to remove impurities from ferromagnetic elements

Removal of surface contamination from components is one of the basic technological processes. It involves such impurities as fats, varnishes or corrosion marks. They are usually removed by mechanical methods. The article presents an innovative method of removing rust from ferromagnetic elements using a rotating electromagnetic field. The construction of the device used in such processes is presented, as well as the studies determining optimal process parameters (cleaning time, number of components or their size). The advantages of the method in question and the possibility of easy adjustment of the parameters of the purification process are also discussed.
