Errors analysis of new method to generate UTC parameters for BDS

All satellite navigation systems generate their UTC parameters by direct time comparison between their system times and UTC(K) via TWSTFT or common-view. The timing accuracy of these methods is several nanoseconds. But they have the characteristics of complicated and expensive devices and limited users. Considering the unique constellation of BDS, a new method for generating UTC parameters is proposed. Its principle is explained and the main errors are analyzed. Values of these errors are calculated by carrying out correlative experiments. The results show users' residual satellite ephemeris errors are within 1 ns and residual ionospheric delay correction errors are within 2.5 ns and tropospheric delay correction errors are less than 0.17 ns and prediction errors of UTC parameters are within 4 ns except individual satellites and receivers relative calibration precision is 1.5 ns after calibrated by reference station's receivers.
