Analysis of emergency room service using fuzzy process mining technique

The main purpose of this research is to focus on application of process mining techniques based on the event logs previously collected in emergency rooms. Accordingly, the collected event logs were used in order to simulate the holistic workflow of the processes within the emergency service and healthcare sectors. The results showed significant handover of work from one ward to another ward. Such findings can be used to improve and increase the efficiency of performance in emergency rooms either in the present or in the future.
