A study on intelligent personalized push notification with user history

In mobile application, the push notification is an important function to make users consume an item (eg. movie, novel). If a mobile application sends too many notifications to users without considering their preferences, it can cause them to turn off the notification or even deleting the mobile application. Thus, we develop a framework that selects a set of users who are likely to react to the push notification. To the best of our knowledge, we first apply recommendation techniques (i.e., collaborative filtering and content-based models) to the problem of discovering the target of push notification.
