A perspective on available security techniques in IoT

Internet of Things is a network of heterogeneous devices, which communicate over wireless networks and perform the task of sensing and actuation. IoT aims at connecting each and every machine and device to provide a ubiquitous connectivity. In this scenario, security and privacy of information play a vital role. In this work, the research done in the field of IoT security is categorized as per the security issue concerned. The proposed and existing methods are reviewed. Based on this survey, the research gap in the security issues is identified.
