Color image enhancement using metamer mismatch through profile mapping

Fundamental idea of any image enhancement algorithm is to progress the image to produce a better image than the unique one for a particular application. The perception color in an image is of primary significance to humans given that color features enable us to sense the environment, identify objects with pass information. Through color enhancement techniques we can modify image from a lower end out dated hardware image to match the rich features available in higher end devices. Distinctive procedures have been for cross proposed compatibility between low-end and high end imaging devices. The frequent up-gradation of imaging specifications has affected the color quality to degrade resulting in loss of information. In this paper we focus on using metamers for white point balancing for color enhancement. The proposed method is novel for its approach of using metamer mismatch to decide priors which can be used improvising color quality through evaluating ICC profiles.
