Usability evaluation of ontology engineering tools

Ontologies are widely used in knowledge based applications. Since the nineties, various technologies have been developed and standards proposed which pushed the entire field forward. Today, activities surrounding the development of ontologies are called Ontology Engineering. Many tools have been developed to facilitate the development process. This paper aims on providing usability evaluation of state of the art Ontology Engineering tools. An experiment has been conducted in order to evaluate usability of state of the art Ontology Engineering tools. The paper also includes the correlation analysis between the time taken by the users to perform the task and usability of the tools.
