Model-free intelligent proportional-integral control of a wind turbine for MPPT

In this paper, the model free intelligent proportional integral MF-iPI controller is designed to control the wind turbine in order to tract the maximum power point. The aim of this work is the comparison between the MF-iPI controller and classical PI controller for the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) control of a wind turbine. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed controller in the tracking of the maximum power point.
