Thermal process mathematical model in electrical machine

The physical and mathematical model of the temperature distributions in an electrical machine arising during its operation is considered in the work. From a mathematical point of view, the electric machine is viewed in the form of a complex three-layer area. In one layer of the machine, internal heat sources act, and in the other two layers heat is transferred conductively or by thermal conductivity. The mathematical model of the thermal process in the electric machine is presented in the form of a boundary value problem for the inhomogeneous three-dimensional heat equation in a complex cylindrical area. An algorithm for solving this problem has been proposed.
