Determining of the optimal buffer size for online data flow

It was suggested a calculation of rational value of package buffering, that grants the probability of system failure do not exceed the set value. It was received the analytic equation and graph of system refuse dependence of package quantity was built. the technology of finding the rational duration of accumulation of packets before the time of their use for the intended purpose, providing with a given probability a continuous mode of operation of the system, is proposed. This technique can be used in software for playing multimedia, such as watching online video movies and music, as well as online TV and radio. Implementation of the developed technology does not require special new equipment or rewriting protocols, and can be easily added as a multimedia player module on the client's computer.
