A review on single switch Dc-Dc converter for renewable energy based applications

The renewable energy as input needs a boost voltage to balance the utility grid and so the conversion of boost up voltage process is required. The DC-DC converters play a major role in high voltage gain and efficiency in the renewable energy conversion system. It's very important to maintain the system efficiency. The voltage stress is reduced by the reduction in the semiconductor devices. Hence single switch DC-DC converter plays a major role in maintaining efficiency and voltage stress which increases the voltage transmission ratio.
