Control of intermediate frequency induction heating power supply based on fuzzy PID

Based on an induction heating power supply device developed by an electromechanical company in Qingdao, the research combines methods of fuzzy and traditional PID controller to improve system performance, saving energy and improving heating efficiency. By analysis of the inverter and resonant circuit principles, this paper presents a double-loop control strategy aim at reducing temperature overshoot and adjustment time, and steady-state error. Finally, the running parameters will be adjusted to achieve reliable operation of the entire heating system according to the design. The application of the proposed approach in the system indicates the effectiveness and practicability of control strategy.
