Suppressing multi-component interference in chirp signal for spaceborne sar based on FRFT

In this paper, a kind of interference on chirp pluses in spaceborne SAR and the corresponding suppression method are introduced. This interference is a kind of multi-component linear frequency modulated (LFM) signal which is difficult to be suppression by classical elimination methods. According to the generation mechanism of interference, the mathematical model is established firstly. Moreover, the characteristics of the interference are analyzed in detail. And quantitative analyses of the interference on imaging quality are presented. Furthermore, the suppression method based on the fractional Fourier transform (FrFT) is proposed. Finally, simulation results validate the effectiveness and the correctness of the proposed method.
