Optimal data subcarrier allocation for wireless power transmission system

Wireless power transmission is seen as a promising technique to charge devices and has attracted extensive research attention. This paper examined using a data communication to improve the wireless power transmission system efficiency. To satisfy the conditions for high-speed communication and reliability, Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is applied as modulation scheme. However, the communication performance is inversely proportionally to the distance between antennas. In this paper, we investigate the optimal subcarrier allocation according to the transfer function |S₂₁| from the experimental measurements. The Bit Error Rate (BER) is evaluated through computer simulations.
