Permanent magnet synchronous motor emulator

In order to test the performance of the motor driver, a power converter can be used to replace the real motor, both of which have the same electrical characteristics. This is a real-time control system. The foremost challenge in this system is the modeling of the real-time motor simulator based on the mathematical model of permanent magnet synchronous motor. This paper introduces the background and basic structure of the motor simulator. A real-time motor simulator is designed in Matlab/Simulink by studying the mathematical model based on the permanent magnet synchronous motor. The simulation results show that the function of the motor emulator can be realized by the design method adopted in this paper.
