Structural properties of Cu2ZnSnS4 thin films produced by nanoink spraying process

We report on the structural properties of Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS) thin films deposited by using nanoink spraying process and annealed at different temperatures Ta = (523–723) K and duration ta = (2–10) min under the ambient atmosphere. The effect of annealing conditions on the phase composition, lattice parameters (a, c, c/2a), unit cell volumes (Vunit) and coherent domain sizes (L) was investigated. CZTS films annealed at Ta = 623 K and ta = 3 min showed the promising characteristics for application in 3^rd generation thin-film solar cells.
