Game theory based distributed energy trading for microgrids parks

To realize the energy sharing among multiple microgrids (MGs) within MG parks, a non-cooperative game based distributed trading is proposed. A linear supply and demand market clearing mechanism is proposed for energy prosumers. A day-ahead energy trading problem is proposed for each MG, correlated with other MGs' trading plans in the utility function. A non-cooperative game is formulated for the energy trading competition among MGs. The existence and uniqueness of Nash equilibrium (NE) corresponding to the proposed game is verified from the perspective of potential games. Based on best response functions, a globally converged distributed algorithm is adopted to compute the NE. The simulation is carried out on the MG park with three MGs. Results have verified the proposed metho.d can obtain an efficient NE where MGs act as prosumers.
