Investigation and analysis of the Lyapunov Control of Zohdy/Harb nonlinear oscillator

In this paper, we examine and analyse the Zohdy/Harb non-linear oscillator. Lyapunov Control of Zohdy/Harb Nonlinear Oscillator is a challenge for most types of feedback controllers. This means that the main objective is to investigate the system's behavior under different conditions without the aid of the proposed controller and thereafter under the influence of the said controller. To advance the controller robustness under different conditions the system's input reference signal is alternated from a simple step to a range of harmonic signals with the system parameters set to random numbers within a range of values to further influence the complex system chaotic behavior, branching, and test the controller under these circumstances. Furthermore, an actuator model is also integrated during the study to investigate the controller behavior. Simulation results are shown for all of the above variations along with the discussions, conclusions and potential future research on the topic.
