The area of a minimal embedded 2-sphere in a manifold diffeomorphic to S3

It is known that each Riemannian manifold Σ³ diffeomorphic to S³ contains an embedded minimal submanifold diffeomorphic to S². The goal of this paper is to give an upper bound for the minimal area of an embedded minimal S² in terms of the diameter, volume, and curvature of Σ³.
