Design and implementation of a rf transceiver for 2×2 mimo wlan module

This paper describes implementation of a small size RF transceiver board for 2×2 MIMO WLAN module. This transceiver board can be used in WLAN systems for higher data rate applications. The proposed RF transceiver is designed using embedded on chip modulator, demodulator, power amplifier, BPF, SPDT switch on Rogers PCB RO4360G2. For better synchronization, two RF transceivers are designed on a single board with better isolation. Size of the discussed 2×2 RF transceiver is 9.26 cm × 8.68 cm.
