Investigation method for power system asymmetrical conditions caused by longitudinal asymmetry in network

A new method for simulation of transient electromechanical processes in power systems which contains longitudinal asymmetry in network is proposed. By this method help it might be simulate arbitrary asymmetrical conditions caused asymmetry in arbitrary line of network. Due to the accurate description of electrical machines and network processes the obtained results may be used as for sizing of components and for tuning of protection equipment, as well as for the stability investigation of power systems. The proposed method is investigated by a mathematical modeling, the result of which corroborate correctness and effectiveness of proposed approach.
