Estimation of characteristics of multifunctional air data probe for air data system

The development of the air data systems is actually divided into two directions: integration of air data systems of classical architecture with other systems (in particular, inertial ones) to improve the accuracy of altitude and speed parameters measuring and the transition from classical architecture to multifunctional air data probes combining both air data measurement and altitude and speed parameters calculation. The second direction is a more complex task from the point of view of the requirements specified to the converters of the primary information (air pressure probes and pressure sensors), computing devices. The estimation of the required accuracy of absolute pressure sensors is performed. In addition, possible ways to improve the measurement accuracy of the aerodynamic angles are discussed, in particular, the algorithms for processing of the measured pressures field and the assessment of the aerodynamic angles values.
