Investigation of conversion function for vortex sonic flowmeter using monte-carlo method

The article is dedicated to the investigation of adequacy of a new conversion function model for a vortex sonic flowmeter, proposed by the authors using the Monte-Carlo method. The Monte Carlo method is a numerical one used for solving mathematical problems by modeling random variables. During the study, the parameters of the data simulating the measuring information of the vortex sonic flowmeters were determined. Based on the data, a new model of the conversion function was simulated. During the investigation, the adequacy of the conversion function model proposed by the authors for the vortex sonic flowmeter was confirmed in the region of low flow rates.
