Comparative study of 1N4148 diode and TMP36GT9Z in smart ventilation unit using solar power

This work is about the performance analysis between temperature sensing diode 1N4148 and TMP36GT9Z temperature sensor to control the speed of exhauster fan automatically with the variation in temperature. There are two different circuits to automatically control the revolution per minute (RPM) of fan depending on temperature. In one circuit 1N4148 diodes are connected in parallel are acting as temperature sensor. In the other circuit, TMP36GT9Z is acting as temperature sensor. One 5V dc motor is used to check the variation in revolution per minute (RPM) in both the cases. The graphs of Temperature versus RPM of fan and Temperature versus voltage across fan terminals are plotted for both the cases. Ultimately it is seen that ARDUINO based TMP36GT9Z sensor circuit is most efficiently working in automatic temperature dependent speed control of exhauster. Solar power is being used along with battery charging unit as the source instead of conventional electric power supply. Thus the most effective circuit is determined for cooling arrangement using automatic temperature dependent ventilation unit.
