Multiple renewable energy extraction using MISOC topology for residential applications

This paper studies an isolated multiple input single output DC to DC converter for energy diversification. MISO DC-DC converter interfaces multiple different renewable energy sources. The power conversion is usually achieved by proper configuration of the circuit components and proper operation of switches. This topology is based on several assumptions and restrictions which helps to minimize the number of components. The MISO topology presented in this paper can be used for low as well as high power applications. This topology has been investigated through detailed device level simulation using MATLAB/Simulink environment along with detailed design procedure.
