Development of Telelab and integration of wind turbine system into hybrid power system

The paper presents a laboratory Wind Turbine System (WTS) which is added to existing Hybrid Power System (HPS) along with other main components like Solar Panel, Battery System, Solar Charge controller and Inverter. The WTS is operated with a Motor along with integrated Frequency converter. The complete system is designed to be monitored and controlled over internet from remote location under the concept of Telelab or remote lab. Moodle platform is used to ensure effective coordination between the lab/experiment management and the users through feedback mechanism. This design will ensure that the system errors/faults are eliminated at the earliest and better educational value is offered by the experiment.
