Critical facilities of Russian gas transport network: The ways of their determining and minimizing the consequences of the emergencies

The article presents approaches to the formation of the list of critical facilities in the Russian gas transmission network from the standpoint of energy security and ways to reduce the negative consequences for emergencies in them. Using the example of separate gas transportation network facilities, it is shown: what negative consequences, expressed in relative volumes of shortage of natural gas, can occur as a result of disruption of the operation of these facilities until their complete shutdown and what invariant steps can be taken to minimize such negative consequences.
