Integration of metrology applications in the calibration reservoir suites using SAP Fiori, portal and cloud. A study case

The business environment is changing day by day, and the technologies are evolving. The problem of adapting the e-metrology application is the starting point for this article. Technology evolution is now a useful platform for us as developers of this application, CRT, so its adaptation has to be made in accordance with everything new and helps the business to perform its tasks as easily as possible, Fast and convenient. Our concept of the new CRT application is now different, bringing together a suite of applications, starting from adapting the new interface to SAP Fiori, mobility, use on smart phones and tablets, passing through the portal environment, adapting the new application to receiving Automated data from environments connected to our system, notification to those using the application about certain technical parameters useful in calibrating the tanks, and finishing with a management tool for the new calibration management tool within a large oil and gas company.
