Extended hemispherical integrated lens antenna for F-band application

This paper presents a dipole antenna as a feed of extended hemispherical lens for 60 GHz applications. This structure employs lens structure for gain enhancement and a dipole antenna as a beam launcher. Electromagnetic simulations of the proposed structure, including optimization of the extended lens length, are performed by CST. Throughout this paper, the design process of the proposed 60 GHz antenna is demonstrated in details.
