The specificity of electrical energy storage unit application

In this paper, it is determined the need to use battery-based energy storage systems to improve the efficiency of energy supply systems and the quality of electrical energy. The requirements for energy storage devices are considered and the methodic of the parameters determination is given. The approach to the expansion of the frequency range of effective work of battery-based energy storage systems is proposed. The properties of the Battery Management System are overviewed. The operating parameters of the AMP20M1HD-A battery was obtained. Battery research was carried out with the use of test bench.
