Sterilization of escherichia coli in milk by high electric field pulse

This paper reports sterilization of Escherichia coli in milk by high electric field pulse. We applied -4.4 [kV] pulse voltage to the milk with E. coli. These results are the followings: 1. The survival ratio of E. coli decreased with the increase of the number of pulses. 2. The calculated value of survival ratio of E. coli agreed with the experimental results. 3. We suggested that the components of the milk were not denatured before and after the pulse application.
