The feasibility study on ship static electric field tracking based on extended kalman filter

Static Electric Field generated by stable current produced in the seawater surrounding ship has obvious distribution characteristics. We study the extend Kalman Filter to tracking ship with its SE signal. Frist, according to the movement characteristics of the target ship, state space model is built. Ship model is built with point currents line array model. Then, the least squares method is applied in the linear constrain on state of target ship considering the actually physical condition. Simulation results demonstrate that this method is feasible for the field of the real-time tracking of ship with the advantage of high preciseness.
