Pre-processing of MR Images for Efficient Quantitative Image Analysis Using Deep Learning Techniques

In this paper, we discuss about the pre-processing approaches for MRI brain scans, which is an initial and critical step to yield better segmentation of gliomas(brain tumors) using the. In the recent days Deep Learning has achieved state-of-theart results in Medical Imaging. The pre-processing approaches for MRI brain scans discussed in this paper gives proper insights to the researhcers in this field to produce better segmentation results and aids in proper diagnosis of brain tumors and helps in the treatment planning for the patients affected with brain tumor.
