Simulation of current limit controller for plug in hybrid electric vehicle applications

Current controlling is one of the key for modern day power electronics circuitry requirements. The over current protection and restricting the current to the permissible limit during transient conditions are the main requirement of controlling the performance of drives of modern day. A current limit controller for controlling the current is the main part for plug in hybrid vehicle during transient conditions like braking, speed reversal, sudden change of load. In this paper a current limit controller is designed using multisim13 software. Designed controller has been implemented in DC-DC converter with PMDC as a motor load. Suitable waveform at different points in simulated circuit has been recorded.
