EMC for the nuclear industry: Addressing the existing requirements and a look at the new guidance being developed WE-PM-5

This article consists of a collection of slides from the author's conference presentation. A large number of EMC-related activities in a NPP. Still, these efforts seem to be underestimated. Other industries invest more effort. EMC SME is the coordinator, but other should be involved as well. Design dept., system engineer, maintenance dept., purchasing dept. EMC program is not an ad hoc document, but a living one. Huge efforts for any collaboration and experience sharing - we are open for it. Gap to be filled for all years when there was no systematic approach to EMC. NEK: conservative approach to new technologies. But, advantages of digital and wireless equipment are recognized.
