VCCI point of view for a new rule

From 11/2016, the VCCI Council started the Self-regulation based on CISPR 32 Ed.2. The system of the new rules has a pyramid structure and has a hierarchy in the rules. The technical requirements conformed to CISPR 32 Ed.2, but depending on the circumstances of Japan, there are some additional items. For example, In-situ test. The applicable scope of the new VCCI rules is mainly MME with the function of ITE. Although the new operation rules started from 11/2016, the number of registered measurement facilities and filed conformity verification report is increasing. The period of combination with the previous rule type is 3/2019, and after 4/2019, VCCI Council wants VCCI's members to comply with the new operation rules. In addition, VCCI's members can continue to ship to Japan products that have notified compliance confirmation with the previous rules. In the market sampling tests, those that reported in the previous rules are subject to pass or fail judgment according to the previous rules.
