Synchronous machine parameters definitions by optimization methods use

Currently, there is an appreciable quantity of Program Complexes (PC) and Program Apparatus Complexes (PAC), which allow one to create the synchronous machines (SM) models. Such tools are often applied when carrying out various scientific research. At the same time, the level of the model SM descriptions specification varies in different PCs and PACs. Oftentimes, difficulties emerge due to a lack of source data to generate an accurate SM model. Thus, the actual task is to define and update the SM parameters used in the simulation. Various optimization algorithms can be used to solve this problem. Also, one of the perspective directions is the joint usage of phasor measurement units (PMU) and optimization algorithms to determine the synchronous machine parameters. This problem can be solved by a well-known system of differential equations, the Park-Gorev usage. All the phase currents and voltages of the stator, the voltage and the excitation current, the network frequency are easily fixed by PMU and are known values.
