DC electronics load for AH battery testing

This paper presents the DC electronics load for AH (ampere-hour) battery testing. The constant discharge current of the battery is introduced. The active region of the transistor is used for discharging the battery and the discharge current is regulated by the PI controller. The ARDUINO-microcontroller is programmed, for controlling the prototype DC electronics load, and used as data logger to record the battery voltage and/or current at any time. The proposed scheme is confirmed by the simulations and experiments.
