An overview: Paradigm shift of techniques used for educational purposes

As times are changing and there are enormous changes in the educational sector, more and more end users are inclined towards the use of new diverse techniques of visual representations like videos, animations, interactive software etc. for learning. This paper reviews the educational technologies available and throws light upon simulation using a physics engine and how it has several advantages over other techniques. The paper also shows analysis of a survey conducted to analyze the preferences of an end user better and critically analyzing the effects of visual representations and user-friendly interfaces over traditional texts for the purpose of learning.
