Novel Linear Regressive Classifier for the Diagnosis of Breast Cancer

The leading cause of death for women is the breast cancer which is one of the most common types of cancer that causes death for more than 40,000 women in an year. Early detection of breast cancer lets the hope of disease recovery. But, the early prediction of breast cancer has been a challenging problem for the researchers. The techniques of Data Mining (DM) help the physician in the diagnostics of diseases. But, the elucidation of the most influencing factors of the diseases is still at the risk of medical diagnostics. Hence, in this paper a linear regressive classification method is introduced to identify the most influencing attributes of any diseases. The experimentation is conducted over the breast cancer data set, to prove the work ability of the proposed work.
