Design of a steerable indoor repeater antenna

A steerable indoor repeater antenna system is presented. Each donor and server antenna is composed of two stacked microstrip patch antennas and phase shifters. The total size of the suggested system is 200mm × 150mm × 150mm including the donor and server antenna. The isolation between the donor and server antenna is maximum when the donor antenna or the server antenna is directed toward 0° at 880MHz. The isolation is maximum when both antennas are not directed toward 0° at 1.9GHz.
