Low-RCS and high-gain broadband circularly polarized antenna

A low-RCS and high-gain broadband circularly polarized (CP) antenna with a low profile is presented. The CP antenna features a wide AR bandwidth (AR ≤ 3 dB) of 14.9% and an impedance bandwidth (S₁₁ ≤ -10 dB) of 21%. Their overlapping band is the same as the AR bandwidth. The RCS of the proposed antenna is significantly reduced from 5GHz to 10GHz by using three kinds of artificial magnetic conductors (AMCs).
