Separation of overlapped sources using subarray technique and independent component analysis

In the presence of multiple sources is unavoidable to have signal overlapping and loss of tracking. The problem becomes complex when the sources are very close and the signals show little difference in frequency. This studied scenario includes three different antennas as independent sources and an array of two antennas as sensors. The number of sensors is minimized by using subarray technique. The FastICA algorithm in the independent component analysis provides the separation and identification of sources. The experimental results validate the technique to determine multiple overlapping sources.
